Non-Toxic Building Materials

Sun Stream's Infrared Saunas are manufactured with an absolute minimum of synthetic materials.

Our sauna rooms are constructed of either 100% Canadian Hemlock (FSC certified). It is common practice with many other sauna brands to use plywood and particleboard hidden in the floor, ceiling, roof and elsewhere in the sauna. These are highly suspect for emitting formaldehyde when heated.

Sun Stream Saunas have NO plywood and NO particleboard.

Our brand name Titebond wood glues are made in the USA and meet FDA criteria for food contact safety while our exterior finish is water based and formaldehyde free.

Rigorous Quality Control & Shipping Methods

All Sun Stream Saunas undergo a rigorous, top to bottom, Quality Control inspection prior to packing and shipping to your home. Our saunas are fully assembled on the factory floor where all systems are tested and all aspects of the construction inspected. The saunas are run at full temperature for 1 hour and measured to ensure your sauna meets all performance specifications.

Sun Stream Saunas are shipped with heavy duty pallets, metal strapping and 3/8" surrounding chipboard to ensure protection of your sauna & safe delivery to your home !!
